I’m Elena, a queer, biracial (Mexican and white) narrator and voice actor originally from Los Angeles. My narration sweet spot is stories centered on queerness, Latinx identity, and coming-of-age — stories that inspire young people and uplift marginalized voices. Since kicking off my career in 2022 with the Penguin Random House Narrator Mentorship Program, I’ve lent my voice to over 100 audiobooks, from middle-grade adventure to YA thriller, historical romance, and beyond. My work has been recognized with multiple Earphones awards, a SOVAS award, and Audie nominations. Beyond the booth, I studied theater in New York, and recently spent a stint in Spain teaching English, recording audiobooks, and traveling.
