Born in the US and raised in a variety of countries by globe trotting military parents - they were exposed to lots of exciting locales, experiences, and accents! Growing up with family in the US deep south as well as Appalachian mountains, they also joined the US military and traveled around the world before eventually settling down and marrying their (utterly amazing) wife in the UK, where they now live.

TJ has been a story teller their entire life, starting by making up various fairy tales (utter lies) for their baby brother, often resulting in shenanigans. After being outed in the US military and suddenly needing to find a new career, TJ was convinced to try narration in 2016. From the beginning, they focused on stories with strong female leads, and women who love women. They know how important it is to have media that reflects who you are – growing up as a young lesbian with a particularly voracious appetite for fiction, they almost never saw positive stories about the LGBTQ+ community (and certainly never about the women within that community). Representation matters!

In addition to being an audiobook narrator, TJ also holds down a full time job, and is also very active in the UK LGBTQ+ activism community, leading corporate networks and regional charities that focus on advancing the rights of, and supporting our LGBTQ+ community. They’ve received numerous awards and recognition for their activism work and don’t ever plan to stop.

TJ lives in Buckinghamshire with their (again - freaking fabulous) wife, various furry family members, a small flock of chickens on a tiny farm that provides endless distraction when a creative block arises.
