Cody Sloan
About the Performer

Cody (he/him) is a classically trained actor and multi-hyphenate artist. He received his MFA in Acting from the University of San Diego's prestigious MFA in Acting Program at the La Jolla Playhouse, consistently ranked one of the top 5 MFA Acting programs in the country.

Just two months after graduating, he made his Off-Broadway debut in the 2022 Drama Desk Award winning production Seven Deadly Sins, working alongside Tony, Emmy, and Drama Desk award nominated director Moisés Kaufman, in one of the first in-person productions in NY after the COVID lock downs. Since then, he has worked with some of the most respected directors in the country, from Tony Award winners Christopher Ashley and Diane Paulus, to Will Davis, Emily Moler, Vanessa Stalling, and Patricia McGregor.

In addition to theater, Cody works across narration, film, and producing his own work. In 2019, he appeared in Amazon Prime's critically acclaimed Selah and the Spades, working opposite Jesse Williams. He stars in Mar Molina’s upcoming Thalia, opposite Juliana Joel. He is currently in post-production for his short, Shot Day, which he wrote, produced, and starred in.

As a narrator, he has worked in long-form content for The New York Times for over 3 years. He has worked in podcasts, commercial VO, and narrated 4 audiobook titles. He is proud to be out as a queer, Transgender actor and especially passionate about YA, fantasy, romance, and queer-led audiobooks.
