After years of being associated with the urban literature community, D. Lewis immersed himself in the world of narrating. On a dare from a trusted friend, he narrated her book, and has been in high demand ever since.

D. Lewis born Darryl Lewis grew up on the rough streets of Buffalo N.Y. That raw edginess combined with his life experiences inspires the voices for the books he narrates. With his growing catalog of books and authors he’s working with, Darryl is breathing life into some of our favorite book characters.

When D. Lewis is not busy laying down audio tracks, you can find him cooking up food on the grill, spending time with his wife, or playing with his grandchildren.
