Elena Anderson is a classically trained actor and audiobook narrator who specializes in bringing smart, sensitive women to life. Her earnest and trustworthy voice, international upbringing, facility with languages and dialects, and lifelong study of history give her the skills to tackle a variety of genres, with soft spots for sci-fi/fantasy, literary fiction, and historical fiction and nonfiction. She has played badass heroines, villainous femmes fatales, nerdy sidekicks, robots, vampires, werewolves, witches, and everything in between!

Elena’s acting background is in theater (she holds an MFA in Acting and a BA in Drama & History), and her work on stage has ranged from contemporary plays to Shakespeare to musicals and beyond. Thanks to both parents working in the US Foreign Service, she grew up traveling the world, studying multiple languages, and picking up accents like a parrot. She’s also highly trained in stage combat through the Society of American Fight Directors, with certifications in multiple weapon styles. Alongside her acting training, Elena is an unapologetic nerd, enjoying everything from D&D to anime to video games and more!
