After twenty years as an editor and proofreader, Jo discovered her passion for Jane Austen fan fiction in 2019, editing around 150 books in the genre. Her fascination with Regency social history deepened as she immersed herself in Austen's world, eventually inspiring her to write her own stories infused with Austen's deliciously dry humour. Jo lives on the south coast of England with her husband and teenage children.
